I was born in Walnut Creek, California 24 years ago. Soon after I moved to Provo, Utah. I lived in Provo until I had just turned six years old. I attended Maeser Elementary school. I then moved to Silver Springs, Maryland. I lived in Silver Springs until I was eight years old. It was in Maryland that I got baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I then moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina. I attended part of second and third grade there before I moved to South Weymouth, Massachusettes. I only lived in Boston briefly before I moved to Yokosuka Japan. I lived in Yokosuka for three years and attended Kinnick High School, which was 7th-12th grade. I then moved to Ramona, California and attended Olive Peirce Middle School and Ramona High School. I lived here until my senior year in high school. I then moved to Collinsville, Mississippi where I attened a K-12 school. I only lived in Mississippi for a few months before I moved back to Ramona to finish up my high school. Due to some miscommunication and my having already obtained all the credits I needed to graduate, I was allowed to leave school a semester early. I moved up to Korea Town in Los Angeles until my graduation in June 2000. I then moved to North Hollywood to persue a life in performing. After about a year of rejection I moved back to Mississippi to prepare to serve a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I arrived at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah on August 29, 2001. After two and a half weeks of training I left for a mission in Singapore. I spent the first six months of the mission in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, East Malaysia. I then moved to Ipoh, West Malaysia. I spent eleven months there before moving to Kuching, Sarawak, East Malaysia. After only a couple months I moved to Tawau, Sabah, East Malaysia. I finished up the mission there and then moved back home to Quantico, Virginia August 29, 2003. I stayed there for eight months to save up some money for my education at Brigham Young University. I then moved to Provo again to go to Brigham Young University. I met my beautiful wife, Nicole Knight, here in Provo the same month I moved here. We dated for four weeks and five days before I proposed to her. We got married on October 21, 2004. We had our first child, Anna Lilly Gaskin, on September 3, 2005. And that brings us to the present.
